The SGSR, working in close collaboration with Faculties/Schools/ Departments/Institutes/ Centres, shall promote and facilitate the development and mounting of various academic programmes including non-researched and researched degrees in the University. These programmes include, but are not limited to: Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma in Education, Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MSc), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Commerce (MCom.), Master of Education (M.Ed.), Master of Philosophy (MPhil), Master of Laws (LLM) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), etc. These programmes may be offered on a Sandwich, Distance and Regular basis.
Departments are responsible for developing academic programmes and associated courses in accordance with the requirements of the University, the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission and other professional bodies. Graduate students shall be required to follow their programmes of study and the approved courses over the prescribed period. The School is open to offer dual or collaborative programmes with other local and international partners whenever it is feasible.
