Description: Are you thinking of doing a PhD in African Discourse Studies? If you are interested in pursuing a career in, but not limited to, African development, international relations and diplomacy, academia, local community and national development, and in building stronger institutions and cohesive societies, but do not yet know what to expect, who to contact or how to write a project proposal, this webinar is a good place to start. An academic team in the Department of African and Endogenous Studies, will share their experiences and give you a first orientation about how to get your PhD project going. You can ask any questions you might have.
The webinar will take place on the 30th of June 2023, beginning 10:00am and ending 11:00am GMT (Ghana time).

Call for PhD applications in progress
Admissions for PhD programmes in the Department of African and Endogenous Studies (DAES), FIDS, SDD-UBIDS are open to all prospective applicants who are interested in pursuing a career in, but not limited to, African development, international relations and diplomacy, local community and national development, and in building stronger institutions and cohesive societies. The two PhD programmes currently on offer are for a period of three years (3year-regular) each, with taught and seminar courses, which must be completed as required for the award of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by the University.
