Joseph K. Wulifan obtained a PhD in Public Health, an MSc in Health Services Planning and Management and a B.Ed. honors degree in Population & Family Life.

He has ample experience in mentoring and supervising students research work at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels within and outside the University. He has successfully supervised many graduate theses from University for Development Studies and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
He has to his credit about Sixteen (16) academic publications. Before joining the University in 2010, he was the Head of Social Science Department in St. Francis Xavier Minor Seminary from 2002 to 2009. Between 2008 and 2012, he worked as programmes coordinator and Executive Secretary for Pentagon Development Consult, Wa.
On Public Elections Administration and Management, he worked as Wa Central Constituency Returning Officer, Registration/Exhibition Supervisor for District Level Elections, Presidential and Parliamentary Elections in 2008, 2010, 2012, 2016, 2019 and 2020. He is the current UTAG Representative on the SD Dombo University Council.
Joseph K. Wulifan is a devoted practicing Roman Catholic and among the top three ranks of the members of the Knights of St. John international, Wa Grand Commandery in the Catholic Church.
