The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Emmanuel Kanchebe Derbile, engaged Mr. Richard Arhin, Deputy Director of Feeder Roads for the Upper West Region, in discussions aimed at improving the university’s road network.

During the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor highlighted the importance of collaboration, noting that the university lacks the financial resources to independently undertake major road projects. He emphasized the need for partnerships to address pressing concerns, particularly during the rainy season when road conditions deteriorate, causing challenges for staff and students.

He stated. “We appeal to the Feeder Roads Department to consider the university in its annual budget allocations for road construction and maintenance.”
