The Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS) is pleased to announce the 5th International Research and Development Conference, scheduled to take place from 24th to 26th September 2025 at the University’s Bamahu-Wa campus.
This year’s conference is themed “Sustainable Pathways for Peace, Governance and Inclusive Development in Africa,” and promises to be a critical platform for academics, researchers, policymakers, and development partners to explore evidence-based approaches to addressing the continent’s most pressing challenges.
The conference will be graced by distinguished personalities, including:
- Guest of Honor: Hon. Charles L. Puozuing, Regional Minister of Upper West Region
- Keynote Speaker: Kuoro Prof. Baduawaali III
- Host: Professor Emmanuel Kanchebe Derbile, Vice-Chancellor of SDD-UBIDS
Sessions will commence at 9:30 AM daily, featuring keynote presentations, panel discussions, research paper presentations, and networking opportunities. Scholars and practitioners across all development-related disciplines are invited to participate and contribute to the discourse on building sustainable African futures.
