Management of the University wishes to inform all staff that the reopening date for First-Year Undergraduate, Continuing, and Regular Postgraduate Students for the 2026/2027 Academic Year has been rescheduled from Wednesday, 16th September 2026, to Monday, 28th September 2026.

Accordingly, students are required to note the following revised registration and academic activity schedule:

  1. Registration (Online): Friday, 18th September 2026 – Friday, 2nd October 2026.
  2. Verification of Registration at Faculty/School Level: Monday, 28th September 2026 – Friday, 2nd October 2026.
  3. Commencement of Lectures: Monday, 5th October 2026.

Note: Weekend Students are not affected by this change and should continue to follow their existing academic calendar and arrangements.

All affected students are urged to take note of the revised schedule and ensure full compliance with the stipulated periods to facilitate the smooth commencement of academic activities for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
