On Thursday, February 29, 2024, a significant event unfolded in the heart of the Bamahu Community as Naa Issah Mahama Mandao I was formally outdoored as the new Chief. This auspicious colourful occasion garnered attention not only from locals but also from esteemed guests, including representatives from the mention of Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies.
The University, honored by the invitation, extended its support by sending a delegation led by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof Emmanuel K. Derbile. Accompanying him were key figures such as the Registrar, Mr. Job Asante, the Director of Finance, Mr. Suglo Abdulai, and the Director of the Directorate of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance, Prof Kenneth Peprah, the Ag Director of Internal Audit, Mr Desmond Zineyelle, Director of University Relations, Mr. Fidelis Z. In a show of solidarity, the Acting Vice-Chancellor emphasized the paramount importance of peaceful coexistence between the Bamahu Community and the University. On his part, Naa Issah Mahama Mandao I, expressed gratitude for the Bamahu Community’s unwavering support towards the University’s development initiatives. His words resonated with the audience, highlighting the symbiotic relationship between the institution and its surroundings.
