The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Emmanuel Kanchebe Derbile of Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies on March 12, 2025, engaged the Regional Director of Survey, Survey and Mapping Division; Surv. Munkaila Abdul Rahman and the Metropolitan Physical Planning, Pln. Yakubu Zakaria of Upper West Region, at the West African Centre for Sustainable Rural Transformation to discuss the development of a comprehensive Master Plan for the University. Understanding the increasing expansion and investor interest, the two Directors pledged their support in developing a comprehensive layout for the University. On this the Vice-Chancellor proposed the formation of a technical team to guide the development, ensuring legal compliance and strategic land use. The meeting reaffirmed commitment to structured growth and securing official land documentation.
