Management of the Wa branch of the National Investment Bank (NIB) has expressed interest in establishing a branch at the Campus of the Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS) to make services of the Bank available to the University community.
Mr. Samuel Sarpong, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Bank, made this known when he paid a courtesy call on the University Management.
According to him, the visit was also to ascertain first-hand information on how customers feel about the services of the Bank and how it could continue to improve on its products and services to the customers.
Prof. Issaka Kanton Osumanu, the Ag. Pro Vice-Chancellor of the University, thanked the leadership of the Bank for the visit and also welcomed the idea of establishing a branch on the University campus.
He added that, the Central Administration Block of the University which was refurbished recently was put up through the relationship that existed between the University and the Bank. He expressed his gratitude to the Bank and said that, establishing the branch will consolidate the already existing relationship.
The seven-member team from NIB comprised the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Samuel Sarpong; Mr. Eric Aggrey, Branch Manager; Mr. George Addai-Mensah, Head of Retail Banking Department; Ms Princess A. Ahulu, Human Resource Department; Ms Mary O. Brefo, Head of Customer Service Department; Mrs Patience K. Alandu, Relations Manager; and Ms Juliet Kunko, Head of Cash Management Unit.
