The Management of Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS) is pleased to announce a groundbreaking collaboration with the George Washington University in the United States of America. Through this partnership, a solar cooling system will be installed on the University campus to help smallholder farmers preserve their vegetables, serve as a “demonstration site” for vegetable farmers, and scaled up to establish the “GW-UBIDS Center for Sustainable Food Systems” to foster innovative research, capacity-building, grant writing and intercultural academic exchanges. This initiative underscores our commitment to advancing sustainable food systems and empowering rural communities in Ghana. Together, we will create impactful solutions to global challenges while enhancing academic excellence at SDD-UBIDS.
