The EU-Ghana Pact for Skills – Entrepreneurship Stream Project, in partnership with Simon Diedong Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies is pleased to announce vacancies for qualified individuals to join our team. This project aims to support tertiary education for sustainable employability by improving the transition of tertiary students into the job market, with a particular focus on green and digital sectors. The project will enhance coordination mechanisms, increase digital skills training, and provide acceleration and incubation services in Ghana. This Project will provide technical support and enhance the skills and capacity of university management teams and faculty members, empowering them to design and implement impactful entrepreneurship programs with a focus on green entrepreneurship. - PROGRAMME LEADER
The EU-Ghana Pact for Skills Project aims to enhance vocational and technical education in Ghana, bridging the skills gap and fostering sustainable economic growth. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Programme Leader to drive this vital initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
The Programme Leader plays a pivotal role in the programme. He/she shall be responsible for setting up, managing and developing the programme. The Programme Leader should possess a proactive “can-do” attitude and consider the programme as a career development opportunity.
The Programme Leader reports to the Dean of the Partner University and coordinates with the E4Impact Consultant responsible for capacity building based in Accra at the Excellence Centre.
Other Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic planning and implementation of the Pact for Skills Project.
- Coordinate with stakeholders including government agencies, educational institutions, and industry partners.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress, ensuring alignment with EU standards and objectives.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, reports, and funding applications.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance skills development.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration;
- Master’s Degree or MBA;
- Proven experience in project management;
- Strong understanding of the EU-Ghana Pact for Skills-Entrepreneurship Stream;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills;
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Should not be more than 50 years; and
- Preferably a staff member of the Partner University holding managerial responsibilities.
Professional Experience:
- Applicants should have 2+ years of work experience in project management as the lead person;
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Suite;
- Worked with international staff; and
- Experience in marketing and communication.

- BUSINESS COACH
The EU-Ghana Pact for Skills – Entrepreneurship Stream aims to empower aspiring entrepreneurs by providing them with the skills, resources, and support needed to succeed in today’s competitive market. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Business Coach to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
The Business Coach is co-responsible with the Programme Leader for the quality of the programme. He/she:
- Attends staff meetings;
- Ensures that students or entrepreneurs develop and test a strong business model and business plan;
- Supports the structuring of financial statements;
- Supports the growth of entrepreneurs’ businesses in creating links with ecosystem; and
- Actively engage in training sessions.
Other Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to entrepreneurs and small business owners;
- Develop and deliver training workshops focused on business development, financial literacy, and strategic planning;
- Assist participants in creating viable business plans and identifying funding opportunities;
- Foster a supportive community among entrepreneurs to encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing; and
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of participants, providing feedback and support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred;
- Proven experience as a business coach, consultant, or entrepreneur;
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by start-ups and small businesses in Ghana;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills;
- Fluency in English, proficiency in local languages is an advantage; and
- Should be within the age range of 28- 50 years.
Professional Experience:
- 2+ years in business or consultancy;
- Experience in business start-up is a plus; and
- Experience in monitoring.
Hard Skills:
- Business Modelling;
- Marketing; and
- Financial Forecasting.
Soft Skills:
- Drive and orientation to people; and
- Networker

- Passionate about entrepreneurship; and

- FACULTY MEMBERS
The project also invites professors for the following streams: Strategy; Finance; Marketing; Human Resource management; and Operations. The Stream Professors are mainly responsible for delivering courses, adapting them to the local context and possibly improving course content. Below are the roles and qualifications required.
Key responsibilities
The Stream Professor is mainly responsible for delivering courses, adapting them to the local context and possibly improving course content as itemized below:
- Course delivery;
- Content review;
- Content adaptation.
- Content development; and
- Marking of assignments and exams
Personal Information:
- Age: 45 and above;
- Language: English; and
- Should be a permanent member of the Partner University, preferably full-time.
Education:
- be at least MPhil, and preferably PhD holders; and
- Possibly a Masters or an MBA (if junior faculty member).
Professional Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in executive education;
- Used to working with international faculty;
- Experience working with entrepreneurs; and
- Have hands-on experience of consultancy projects.
Hard Skills:
- Business Strategy;
- Accounting and financial management;
- Project management; and
- Fundraising.
Soft Skills:
- Well-connected in the business world;
- Be strongly business-oriented; and
- Have an interest in social responsibility principles.
